On Thursday, May 1st, AMAL organized a trip to visit our club member Ernst Steinmetz in Söst. At 10:30 a.m., about a dozen of us met in Brouch and left at 11 for a beautiful tour of about 60 km in perfect spring weather, heading toward Germany.
We arrived around noon in Söst, a small locality of Wincheringen, where the place was already quite full. The 15th Oldtimer Meeting for Motorcycles and Mopeds, which Erny has been organizing for many years, was once again a complete success. Many people and motorcycles, including a few truly exceptional models, had gathered in Söst. A lot of small machines were also part of the event, offering a great mix of bikes to admire, some good food to enjoy, and a drink to quench our thirst in the warm weather.
All in all, Erny had once again put together a great event that was well worth the trip. AMAL thanks him for the wonderful day and will be back again for the next edition.
