What is AMAL?

AMAL’s cultural goal lies in the conservation, restoration and riding of historic motorcycles. Furthermore, AMAL aims to bring like-minded people together in order to talk motorcycles. Be it to resolve technical issues, exchange knowledge and skills or simply spend some good time together.

In principle, everyone interested in the subject and owning a motorcycle older than 25 years can become a member. Every member has the right to decide for him/herself what is deemed a collectible.
Member’s bikes don’t have to be in original condition. If period-correct customizations please the owner, the association certainly has no problem with them. Quite the contrary; self-made solutions or improvements require technical skills and, therefore, are more than welcome.

New members will quickly discover the many different social and professional backgrounds of other AMAL members and learn to appreciate said diversity with one common factor: the passion for classic motorcycles.
Apart from the annual membership fee, no obligations come with an AMAL membership. Nevertheless, participating in AMAL’s activities is strongly encouraged, since we all know: the more the merrier.
